Sometimes when you create a spec doc with an LLM, it will spit out these ridiculous time estimates. Like “Full refactor of foo: 2-3 days”.

I laugh every time I see it, because it reminds me of the struggle.

The horrifying thing is, those estimates aren’t far off- if it was up to me to do the work.

For an agent though, those changes are measured in minutes…

… but only if you’ve put the time in to clearly define what the refactor is.
