Had to struggle through some tough procrastination feelings. Did not want to open Ableton for some reason. My inner child was complaining that it was so haaaaaard.
But I opened it, and exported a kick drum.
Already had Quartz clock set up. A MasterClock handle. I figure everything will use the one true clock?
But when I made a new Actor for Drum, I was flabbergasted on how to get the clock from the MasterClock BP to the Drum BP.
So spent the rest of my time looking at Unreal GameState and GameMode. The following video equates them to Model and Controller in MVC software design.
Ill do a more detailed dive into it tomorrow. Was just doing a cursory watch-through today as I wasn't sure exactly what I was looking for.
